A Night in the Realm of Brown Bears

The overnight excursion offers a rare opportunity to spend a full night in the natural habitat of brown bears and observe wildlife from evening until early morning.

The experience begins at Bear Centre with a short introduction, followed by an approximately 400-meter walk along an easy and accessible forest path. The route is suitable for almost everyone and leads to a serene and secluded Bear Watching House, carefully positioned along the bears’ natural routes.

The Experience

Compared to evening visits, the overnight stay allows significantly more time in the hide, increasing the chances of seeing multiple animals throughout the night.

Bears are most active during the evening and nighttime hours. In addition, guests may encounter other wildlife such as wolverines, foxes, and occasionally wolves.

Inside the Bear Watching House, guests can observe wildlife continuously. There is also the possibility to rest or sleep while remaining ready to spot animals directly from the viewing area as they arrive.

A night in the forest offers something truly exceptional — silence, atmosphere, and the authentic rhythm of northern nature.

Wildlife & Expectations

While the probability of seeing bears is high, it is important to remember that all animals are wild and move according to their natural behavior.

Sightings cannot be guaranteed on every excursion, as bears arrive and leave according to their own rhythm.

At times, several bears may appear during the same evening, while on other occasions, wildlife observation requires patience.

However, every visit to the Bear Watching House is a unique nature experience — offering the opportunity to enjoy the peace of the wilderness, beautiful landscapes, and wildlife in their natural environment.
