Bear Watching – Evening Trip

The Evening Trip is an immersive experience lasting a few hours, during which you observe bear activity as the evening light fades from the Bear Watching House.

The excursion begins at Bear Centre with a short introduction about bears and the rules of the trip. After this, you walk approximately 400 metres to the Bear Watching House, located in a მშვიდ, remote observation area in the forest. The route follows a firm forest track, making the walk easy and suitable for almost everyone.

The Bear Watching House provides a comfortable and safe place to observe bears and other wildlife. Large windows offer excellent views over the surrounding forest, ponds, and marshes where bears often move during the evening hours. On the best evenings, several bears may appear at the same time, sometimes coming very close to the viewing house.

An evening at the Bear Watching House is a peaceful nature experience, where you can follow the rhythms of the wilderness, listen to the sounds of the forest, and wait for wildlife to appear.

Wildlife and Expectations

Although the probability of seeing bears is high, it is important to remember that bears are wild animals and move according to their natural behaviour.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee bear sightings on every trip. Bears come and go according to their own schedule.

Sometimes bears may arrive quickly and several individuals can be seen during the same evening. At other times, observing wildlife may require a bit more patience.

Every visit to the Bear Watching House is, however, a unique nature experience, offering the chance to enjoy the peace of the wilderness, beautiful landscapes, and the life of wild animals in their natural environment.
